1% is about the best shit out there, through the warped, perverse eyes of Creativity in Captivity (aka Advertising). It was Thomas Edison who said that Genius is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration. I want to focus on the non-sweaty bits of the internet.

What makes something viral? What makes it interesting to different people? Why do I get that damned peeing monkey in my email every 8 months? Does spam work? What makes people buy things online? What makes people believe things online? Let us discuss emails, newsletters, websites, microsites, minisites, nanosites, spam, pop-ups, pop-unders, banners, vokens, rich media, blogs, podcasting, and blah-fuckin-blah. But only if it is truly mindblowing. Leave the scraps for the hounds.
